Fourth Gatha Vohukhshthra Monday 8/17/2009. Dick and Sheroo Vazir religiously attended Toronto Muktad Prayers for years and Dick always wished that such Muktad prayers can be held in our own homes. His wish was fulfilled, however, posthmously, in his own home. Pervaze Rabadi of Toronto was very helpful in distributing our photos to all Toronto members in Dick's memory. Please convey our CONGRATULATIONS to the Florida Z community and may with the Blessings of Ahura Mazda, this tradition continue in perpetuity. Here The Zoroastrian Society of Ontario is hosting it's 27th Muktad. Roshan will stay at Darbe Mehr during this period to help in cooking etc. Daily the ZSO is serving meals to about 100-150 at lunch and 150-250 for dinner, all free of charge. We have 6 young Mobeds below the age of 20 participating and learning from the elder Mobeds. We may be experiencing a revival in North America. With best wishes Pervaze As requested, I have attached three photographs of The First Muktad held in Florida at the home of Sheroo Vazir (wife of Late Dick Vazir). The leadership of this Muktad is taken by no other than our Ervad Soli Dastur. As we all well remember Dick and Sheroo attended our ZSO Toronto Muktad every year religiously with their daughter Franak. A total of 22 families participated in Florida Muktad. We wish them well and CONGRATULATE them on taking this first step. May Ahura Mazda give them strength to continue our tradition in perpetuity. Pervaze Rabadi
