The real FEZANA AGM started Saturday and continued until lunch time Sunday. Ervad Soli P. Dastur gave the benediction and President Bomi Patel call for roll call and secretary Firuzy gave a go ahead with quorum being established. The business meeting went on until almost 5:30 PM with 2 coffee breaks and lunch in between. The highlights of the coffee breaks were home made Parsi delicacies like Bataasaa from Toronto (donated free of charge by "Bataasaa Lady" Roshan and Prvaze Rabadi, Daar Ni Poris from Chicago ZAC Avan Yazad Pori Bake-a-thon, and those delicious Bhaakhraas, donated free of charge by Goher and Denny Mobed of Clewiston, Florida and Barfi and other goodies donated by Kim and Sarosh Mistry. Thank you all for your generous donations. The box lunch was well managed by our ladies. The evening dinner program started at 7 PM with many ladies in beautiful saris and many men in daglis and topis. It was a picturesque photo of them in the group. The dinner program was started by Sherry Kassim. Two Iranian students on Iranian Tablaas and my favorite Santoor instrument gave a very pleasing musical experience to all of us. Then our own Afsaan Kermani and Carl Irani and 4 other beautiful ladies gave a modern Indian dance music with a vibrant dance sequence! The surprise highlight of the show is the Magician extra ordinaire Sarosh Mistry and his lovely wife Kim. No one has seen him performing a magic show and what a great pleasant surprise! His tricks were well received and a rousing applause followed! The dinner was a mixture of Indian and American dishes enjoyed by all with home made desserts. The whole day was a great success for this little Orlando Group! Bravo!
